Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia) is considered by men who wish to reduce enlarged, female-like breasts using liposuction and/or cutting out excess glandular tissue (sometimes covered by insurance). The results are permanent.

Male Breast Reduction is usually an outpatient surgery with preparations and procedure encompassing approximately 1 hour or more. Anesthesia is often a local, or in some cases general anesthesia may be recommended. Temporary bruising, swelling, numbness, soreness and burning sensation can be expected.

Our patients are usually back to work in 3 to 7 days and should avoid strenuous activity for 2 to 3 weeks. Swelling and bruising can remain for up to 3 to 6 months.
